A Side Note...
Please
don't feel bad if you make us cry-especially when you talk about Shoshie and how special she is and what was special about her. If fact,
when we're sobbing and heaving, that is fine too.
It means so much to us
for Shoshie to be remembered in such a fine way. They say that
"tears are the sweat of the Soul." It is exactly the same source that
produces both happy and sad tears. The sadness and joy both are clinging
to the tear. It is precisely the preciousness of our love for Shoshie
necessarily produces the tears of sorrow. We wouldn't have it any other
way.
So let's cry hard and laugh hard together as we heal from the loss
of precious light that was sniffed out, let's replace that empty space
with light in honor of Shoshie and let that Kaovd Shaymayim (the honor
of heaven) be a source of healing for the other mourners of Zion and
Yerushalayim. Thanks for the tears.
