5 little monkey jumping on the bed-1fell down and bumped his head

5 little monkey jumping on the bed-one fell down and bumped his head-Momma called the Doctor and the Doctor said –“no more monkeys jumping off the bed”Why didn’t the Doctor say “Oy put ice on the head, take 2 aspirin and lay down”Why did the Doctor abruptly cut to the chase and say– No more monkeys on the bed -Prevention! Take the jumping off the bed off the table – don’t do it –its dangerous

In today’s world “preventative maintenance” is a key idea and concept on the rise
It certainly costs more $ to take care of a problem after the fact. Let’s try to nip it in the
bud.   The Doctor is right no more monkeys jumping on the bed – Deal with it before it happens!

Same with us. We all have habits that we are not proud of-that if we are still emotionally healthy
make us feel shame. We all do and say things that we are not proud of. Let’s try to deal with ourselves
before the situation occurs again.

What are those situations that we put ourselves in that most likely result in our worst habits?
What time is it? Where? Are you alone? With someone that drives you insane?
There are common scenarios that we stumble –that we wind up saying or doing the wrong thing.
Does it happen often when: we don’t sleep enough?, we don’t eat ? eat too much sugar? We don’t
eat enough good food? We feel our clothing is too tight, unattractive, - We have to go to the bathroom
We all have triggers. Up past 11:00 p.m. at night? (Not a lot of good things happen then)

Prevention- we can sin less- do things we aren’t so proud of less – say things that we shouldn’t less
if we can better see our triggers – On the other hand putting ourselves in the best situations possible
can do wonders for behaving our best
