The Essence of this Month - ELUL
The name of the month "ELUL" is spelled with 4 Hebrew letters. Each one of these letters stands for a Hebrew word which translates into English as "I am (devoted) for my beloved and my beloved is (devoted) to me.
The question is who is saying it to whom? Who goes first? Hashem or us? In any event, this month is a month of repairing relationships , the foremost is with God but each other as well.
