Don't Recognize Someone's Face - Part 2

Don't Recognize Someone's Face - Part 2

How not to pervert your judgement?

"You shall not respect (literally recognize) someone's presence (literally face) - Recognizing a face is seeing the external aspects and dimension of a person - (their face) whether they are beautiful or not, sexy or not, put together or not, overall appearances, wealthy or not, colored or not, this country or not, - it is seeing not who they are but what you "recognize" - what you respect - What appeals to you, What can they offer you. And then it says

"And you shall not accept a bribe, for the bribe will blind the eyes of the wise and make just words crooked"

Accepting something from someone (a bribe) that you are going to judge means that it will impact the way you view that person (this is good when you married and it has to do with your wife)

A bribe (a gift) gift from you makes me feel validated, affirmed, appreciated, liked, paid attention to, honored, recognized, that makes me feel good and it certainly makes me good about the person who provides the bribe because they are the source of my good feelings.

A bribe by the way doesn't have to be physical - we can bribed by attention, respect, consideration etc - A bribe connects us

The bribe blinds our eyes. For a judge this isn't good but for a relationship we care about it's great.

But the lesson that comes out from it is very powerful. In the end of the day we often see things the way we want to see them. Our eyes get easily blinded - We don't see straight. The thoughts that come to our head if one is not careful are crooked -

Specifically when the other person is a source of your good feelings - your judgment can be skewed - even if you are very wise -

It works the other way around - if the person is often not a source of pleasure- their nice and loving words could be made crooked by you -

We hear and see what we want not necessarily what is

In the end- we all judge each other constantly -it is normal and natural- Be careful - everything that comes up in your mind -what you see just might not be absolute and resolute as it appears.

Check yourself out with others and as always Love
